Stuart's Disney Experience

Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary – Stuart, Swords Travel

This year I was lucky enough to be invited to the 25th anniversary VIP trip at Disneyland Paris. Disney is something I’ve always wanted to experience and at the young age of 34 I was extremely thrilled to be getting my opportunity     (being a big kid).

The Journey

So suitcase packed and time to head off to London’s St Pancras International Station. We departed the Eurostar terminal on the direct service at 10:14 and after only two hours and forty five minutes we arrived directly into the park at Marne La Vallée-Chessy Station (Disneyland Paris). #It’sTimeToSparkle

After a short shuttle ride to our home for the next three days we arrive at the newly refurbished Disney’s Newport Bay Club which is just a 10-15 minute walk in to the Disney Parks. Newport bay is one of Disney’s 4 star hotels and offers great facilities in a great setting.

After a short welcome introduction from the Disney cast members it was a race against the clock to put our cases in our rooms and get out there to experience Walt Disney Studios park like big kids.

On day 2 it was time to experience more of the parks. We were lucky enough to use our Disney VIP Fast Pass to gain entry to the “Tower OF Terror”. OMG!! The elevator drops you faster than the speed of light, a great ride. We also experienced the “Armageddon” & “Rock ‘n’ Roller Coster” starring Aerosmith.

A quick run back to the hotel it was time to get ready for the evening meal and entertainment show…Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Buffalo Bills is a great family show where the audience is split into four different colour. All the characters really get you involved and some of the tricks were great!

The Illuminations

After Buffalo Bill’s we headed down to main street to experience the All NEW… Disney Illuminations extravaganza, created especially for the 25th anniversary! This was truly magical…. All the classic Disney films brought to life projecting them on Sleeping Beauty’s Castle with some an amazing sound track.

To watch the full show click HERE to see the video on our Swords Travel Youtube page. This show was so emotional and brought tears to not only my eyes, but all the people young and old around me. This was definitely a memory that will last a life time a must see whilst visiting.

Dining

Whilst we were at Disney we had the half board meal plan. I would definitely recommend this as it saves so much time and money by booking in advance.

Food around the park was great I had breakfast in the New Port Bay Hotel. This was buffet style and had everything you could want for breakfast was on offer.

We had meal vouchers to use around the park at a various eateries bars and restaurants. I was a little addicted to the Disney star shaped chicken nuggets, very moorish. With the meal vouchers there is so much choice of meals to chose from and if you want any any advice on the meal plans don’t hesitate to speak to me today…. Speak to Stuart
