Mark Swords
I started my career in travel in 2003 as an overseas holiday rep for Thomas Cook. Since my first day in the job I have fallen in love with travel. I’ve travelled around the world and experienced some of the most beautiful places the world has to offer. Throughout my career in travel I’ve worked in retail management, for luxury tour operators and also cruise lines, so I have a fully rounded overview and understanding of the industry.
In June 2016 I decided I wanted to start my own travel company after working for a larger corporate retail travel company in Wimbledon. I knew there was a certain element of service missing in this corporate environment. Whether it’s an annual family holiday, a honeymoon in Africa or a once if a lifetime trip – I will personally ensure your enquiry receives our upmost attention and you get the dedicated service that we pride ourselves on.
I believe very strongly that our team need to be well travelled to be able to provide you with the best insight and knowledge on where we think is the best recommendation for your own holidays. We really get to know our clients and as a business we like the fact we are smaller, more personal and you can get to know our team but also we can get to know you.
So what are you waiting for, get in touch and hopefully we can start inspiring you for your next adventure.

Last year I was lucky enough to go on a tour of New Zealand and stay at seven of the luxury lodges. I was completely wowed by the whole trip and New Zealand is now one of my favourite destinations.

Where are you planning on going on holiday next
I was due to go to Australia again this December but have now had to postpone this to 2021. My next trip I am looking to do is Italy and I’m thinking a few nights in Capri, then on the Amalfi Coast and finishing with a couple of nights in Naples.
The best thing about working in travel
The best thing about working in travel is we get to see so much of this amazing world that we live in. I am very privileged to have travelled and worked around the world, experienced so many different cultures, stunning destinations and had some once in a lifetime experiences. I think once you’ve worked in travel it’s very hard to think of doing another career as there is nothing better than selling destinations we loved every single day.
My favourite hotel
This is such a tough one for me as I’ve stayed in some amazing hotels around the world, but the one that stands out for me is The Lindis in New Zealand. It has such amazing memories for me as we arrived by helicopter to this stunning architectural design in the middle of nowhere. I felt completely at peace and it was one memory that really sticks with me.
My top travel tip
When visiting a destination always ask about what you can prebook in advance. It’s so important with some destinations to get your ‘must do’ excursions and trips booked in advance as sometimes leaving it until you arrive means you could miss out.
