We’re currently looking for a small number of highly motivated people to become part of the Swords Travel family and join us as a Swords Travel Associate.

What is an associate?

As a Swords Travel Associate you will work in partnership with a  multi award-winning brand. You will have the opportunity to build and develop your own clients but with the support, experience, advice and knowledge of our owners Mark & Stuart. Your focus will be on selling your passion, knowledge and own personal travel experiences to your clients. We’ll take care of the admin, tech and offer support through our industry partners. If you want to grow we will support you with marketing, training and guidance on becoming the best in the industry.  There’s also the opportunity to increase your earnings percentage dependent on the level of your annual performance.  We’re a sociable bunch so we’ll arrange regular team events including a conference once a year, but also we want our associates to be attending the best events in town to ensure their knowledge is always top-notch.  Your location is no obstacle to us, whether you want to work from home,  or maybe you’d like to spend some time in our retail store in Wimbledon with your clients – the decision is always yours.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for highly motivated luxury travel professionals who have very high standards, just like us.  You’ll have a minimum of 3 years experience working within luxury travel as an agent or tour operator.  Ideally you’ll have your own base of clients, however for the right person we will support you to build this. The most important part for us is that you are happy being part of a small team, who support each other with advice and knowledge, and that you are forward thinking and don’t just follow the norm.

Swords Travel was founded in 2016 by Mark & Stuart Swords, who between them have over 34 years of experience in the travel industry. Over the last 2 years, they have won 10 prestigious industry awards and pride themselves on the personal relationship they have will all their clients and partners. Swords Travel is a member of The Travel Network Group and all clients funds are fully protected through a trust account model with the TTA. Being completely independent, Swords work with an array of luxury tour operators but also have the ability to design bespoke itineraries with some of the finest suppliers around the world through their own ATOL.
