Day 1 International outbound flight

Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Quito. On arrival in Quito you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

 

Day 2 Quito

Enjoy a guided tour of Quito.

 

Day 3 On-board ship (The Galapagos Islands)

Transfer to the airport in time for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Here you will be met by your guide and taken to your awaiting vessel. After a welcome aboard you will have your first excursions on the islands.

 

Day 4 On-board ship (The Galapagos Islands)

On-board your cruise ship.

Day 5 On-board ship (The Galapagos Islands)

Day 6 On-board ship (The Galapagos Islands)

 

Day 7 Guayaquil

You will fly back to Guayaquil, where you will be met and taken to your hotel for the night.

 

Day 8 San Ramon

Transfer to the airport in time for your flights to San José. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the San Ramon cloudforest for two nights.

 

Day 9 San Ramon

Take a morning birdwatching excursion in the cloudforest. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax or potentially book a zip-lining excursion locally.

 

Day 10 Arenal Volcano

Transfer north to the beautiful Arenal Volcano.

 

Day 11 Arenal Volcano

Afternoon trip to the Arenal National Park to explore the lava fields.

 

Day 12 Playa Potrero

You will be driven from Arenal to Playa Potrero for some relaxation on the beach.

 

Day 13 Playa Potrero

Relax on the beach.

 

Day 14 Playa Potrero

Relax on the beach.

 

Day 15 International return flight

Transfer by road back to San José in time for your return flight home.

 

Day 16 International return flight

Arrive home today to complete your journey.
